Ultimate Blog Tour Review – The Devil’s Apprentice by Kenneth B. Anderson

It’s my turn on the blog tour!

I want to thank the author and The Write Reads for this ebook copy for review.

The blurb from the back of the book:

Philip is a good boy, a really good boy, who accidentally gets sent to Hell to become the Devil’s heir. The Devil, Lucifer, is dying and desperately in need of a successor, but there’s been a mistake and Philip is the wrong boy.

Lucifer has no other choice than to begin the difficult task of training Philip in the ways of evil. Philip is terrible at being bad, but when he falls in love with the she-devil Satina and experiences the powerful forces of love and jealousy, the task becomes much easier.

Philip finds both friends and enemies in this odd, gloomy underworld–but who can he trust, when he discovers an evil-minded plot against the dark throne?

I wasn’t completely sure what this book was about before I agreed to review it. When I read the synopsis, I was intrigued. When I started reading the book, I was hooked.

The story is about Phillip, a typical boy who goes to school, helps his mum and does his chores. And then Phillip begins to explore.

Suddenly, we find out what Hell is really like through Phillip’s eyes. The setting is amazing. This author has really excelled in making you believe you are there with the characters.

I feel like there are a lot of messages in this book, and it is interesting to read and interpret.

I also feel like this is a younger version of young adult. It’s a lovely quick read, and I would definitely recommend it!

I gave this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Has anybody else read this book? What did you think?

My name is Lisa and the pooch in my profile picture is my baby, Skye. I love everything bookish! I also find things like tarot and angel cards, along with runes and gemstones really interesting and I like to incorporate these into my photos.
